(8' Pallet) Shuttle Configuration
High Productivity and Throughput
The "Shuttle" configuration of the Laser Productivity Center offers many of the throughput
benefits of the automatic dual pallet load machines, in a more cost efficient package. The
operator is able to load/unload the dual 4'x3' cutting sections while the machine cuts
continuously. This configuration can provide a 50% throughput improvement over
machines that require down time for load servicing.
The LPC Shuttle maintains Class I safety with automated door closing and a motorized
push button controlled "cutting pallet" that shuttles back and forth. The operator has two
load/unload stations (at the front and back of the machine) with easy three sided access to
the finished parts. They will shuttle from side to side of the machine removing completed
parts and waste materials and loading fresh stock. Once the operator has serviced the
cutting bed they hit a "ready" button and the machine takes over with the auto-loading.
