Automated Dual 4'x4' Pallets
Automated Productivity
The Production Automation (PA) configuration of the Laser Productivity Center
offers significant throughput enhancement benefits. The operator is able to
load/unload the dual full 4'x4' cutting sections while the machine cuts
continuously. This configuration can provide a 100% throughput improvement,
over machines that require down time for load servicing.
The operator loads and unloads the machine from the back with easy three
sided access to the finished parts. The pallets will automatically exchange
when required, allowing completed parts and waste materials to be removed
and the fresh stock to be loaded. Once the operator has serviced the cutting
bed they hit a "ready" button and the machine takes over with the auto-loading,
freeing the operator for other tasks. The companion software, barcode reader
and the 3 button auxiliary control panel permits complete operation from the
rear of the machine.
The Lumen PA maintains Class I safety with automated door closing and an
automatic cutting pallet exchange system.
